Growing up is hard to do –
Learning can feel difficult and sometimes scary
At times children may feel as if forgotten, as if left out, or alone
It can sometimes feel horrid discovering ourselves as unique and different
Often relationship conflicts, confusions and worries seem to block access to caring relationships.

Children need to know what it feels like to be thought about and properly understood in order for them to know how to understand others and manage relationship wobbles, internal fears and worries.

As an Integrative Child and Young Person (YP) Psychotherapist, with the help of a wide variety of creative materials, I aim to build therapeutic relationships of trust, helping children and YP feel accepted, seen and heard who they are inside. Offering safe, non-directive space to feel thought about, safe and understood.

My offer includes working alongside parents and schools to provide caring, transparent joined-up thinking around individual educational, social and psychological need as an integral part of supporting and better understanding children and facilitating development. Additionally, at times I offer the possibility of working together with a child and parent.

UKCP registered Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy, degree in Psychology, PGCE (Early Years) and PG diploma in SpLD (dyslexia)
