Supervision

What is clinical supervision?

Clinical supervision facilitates the development and maintenance of therapeutic competence, promotes fitness to practice and enhances good professional development.  The provision of supervision offers an intensive relationship – based on education and training that is case focused, supporting, directing and guiding the work of professional practitioners.

Supervisors offer a range of models for supervision and learning as well as unique relationships with the practitioners they work with.  A supervisory relationship can be offered to those working in psychological therapy, counselling, psychotherapy as well as non-therapeutic roles.
